how little use Evokers may find for guns
Well, I find Dart Pistols being moderately useful and quite fun, at least on lower levels, until you can dual-wield foci or until you find some really good foci. Some good quality Dart Pistols seem to be viable even after. As soon as you get used to the explosion lag, and the appropriate usage tactics developed.
EDIT: Yesternight I bought the unique Rebound Pistol from a vendor, just for experiment's sake. It is quite fun to use, especially in tunnels and other narrow locations. And RP/Focus pair seems to be more effective than Focus/Focus pair.
