I would migrate my skill guides over to the wiki, but looking at it there is no point as all the skills seem to have their own page.

So I guess someone might as well delete all my skill guide threads then to help clean up the forums.

Actually I guess it isn't necessary to move your guides to the wiki, I will just un-sticky them and link them from this list.

wouldn't it be better to have a separate section for guides...

That was the original idea. To move all the guides to the wiki

Thank you....  :)

Quick thought, as I can see this thread getting "messy", might it be an idea to use this thread for people to suggest threads and actually have a single sticked locked thread where all the links are posted to by a mod ?

I've a guide request: item upgrading.

I've not really seen a comprehensive how to on this.  Questions like:
What changes happen each time I use the nanoforge?
How many times can I upgrade?
How do nanoshards factor in and how to best aquire them?
What upgrades/effects can I expect from the 3000?
How are mods affected?
Best strategies for upgrading and what not to upgrade.

There are bits and pieces laying about the web on the subject, like use limits listed here, but it's a chore to track them all down and some of the info has been outdated by patches.  And some of the finer points really aren't covered that well anywhere at all.

the item gets upgraded, increased by 2 levels.  weapon damage increased and armor protection/shields increase some
How many times can I upgrade?
it was 10 times, but i think the fun patch increased it, not sure how much.
How do nanoshards factor in and how to best aquire them?
u need nanoshards to use the nanoforge 1st time = 1 sharde, 2nd time = 2 shardes, 3rd time = 3 shards, etc.  U get shardes by breaking down items.  The best chance for a shard is with unique, and the worst is white items.
What upgrades/effects can I expect from the 3000?
the upgrade effects vary and r random for your faction.  could be skill boost to armor protection, to various damage increases, luck boost, etc.
How are mods affected?

I believe the patch allows you to upgrade 25 times per item.
