Steam deck hellgate revival Missing charecter/enemy models on launch

Can anyone help with playing hellgate london (2007) modded with revival on the steam deck?

The game launches fine using proton 8 and up

upon launch none of the character models or enemy models show up, only weapons show.

Tried several different versions of proton didnt fix the issue. Iv installed the game to the downloads folder in steam deck as its easier to reach.

The fix for this is to install the game on the deck itself from an ISO. Simply ripping, copying or otherwise placing the main game onto the deck without installing will lead to this issue.
