Introduction
 I made some changes so that London-2038-Client Singleplayer mode can run Stonehenge and Abyss content.

Version 1.5.10b build 20221025 (Oct 25, 2022)
  - Compatible with online games client updates for a period of time. So far this year, I Checked the Current SP MOD Works Fine with all knowing releases.

    PATCH v1.5.10b build b83bf56b (Release Date: 06/05/2022)
    PATCH v1.5.11b build 76c5333b (Release Date: 08/08/2022)
    PATCH v1.5.11b build 25606fcf (Release Date: 09/05/2022)

    If the version is lower than PATCH v1.5.10b, SP MOD will upgrade your London-2038-client version at the same time and have all functions for this version. You can install client updates for online games at any time, this does not affect your used SP MOD, but most of the new content(higher than PATCH v1.5.10b) will be not take effect.

  - Sync client executable to version 2749.0.0.4595 build b83bf56b.

Version 1.5.10b build 20220423 (Apr 23, 2022)
  - Support for London-2038-Client lastest Hotfix Patch 1.5.10b.
  - All items in game will be exist in their best possible form with their best possible stats (Excludes identified items obtained in previous versions).

For some reason i cannot download this. I press the link and my screen just flashes once and nothing happens. This is the only link here that does that. Downloaded count does go up after each click but i am not receiving the zip.

I seem to be having the same issue on Chrome, but the link works fine on Mozilla. Not sure why that would be, but you might use that workaround for now.

At least as far as Chrome is involved, this was "works as intended".

The problem originated from an outdated "pretty" base/root URL setting that's used by one of our forum extensions and wasn't updated when migrating the forum to HTTPS. This caused some of the forum URLs to still have a http:// prefix instead of the proper https://. In turn, newer versions of Chrome refused to download these "insecure" links from a web page that was served securely (i.e. via HTTPS).

The issue should be fixed now.

Patch 1.5.7b Notes January 23, 2022

Misc changes
The Single-Player button has been removed from the game’s main menu.

With the upcoming patch 1.5.7b, I was surprised to find this change. If it's not popular based on the 2038 development team's point of view, I can permanently stop updating the SP MOD. But please keep the SP button, let me not give up on a game released in 2007, and have a chance to entertain myself

By no means, that's not why this change happened. We don't object to your work - I personally quite like it too, as hga is where we started. We just don't support SP on/through our client; the option of SP was more or less a "hack" within the MP client, and it was confusing to have that option there.
I'll see what might be done about this and let you know

Ah, thanks for the nudge - forgot to note we've already found a solution now. There will be a proper update on this as soon as we go live.

So... Here's an update on this with some important information.

With the latest patch (1.5.7b) of Hellgate London, we have decided to remove the "Single-Player Game" entry from the main menu by default. We want to make it crystal clear that the 2038 team is focused on and dedicated to the multiplayer game. We have neither time nor resources to support single player mode, so if any problems arise you're on your own.

However, we'll play along nice and don't want to trainwreck mods like this completely. So we've come up with a way for players to actively "opt in" for getting the SP button back.

This requires you to place a file with specific name and content into your Data\ folder. The file is named IWantSPandDontCareIfItBreaks.txt (case doesn't matter on Windows filesystems), and it must contain the text

I fully understand that single player is not supported by the London 2038 team. So let there be dragons.

Could you tell us how you made it work? What tools are you using?
I'd like to edit the character save files myself if possible.

I know English isn't your first language, so if you can't answer no worries but I want to say how much I appreciate your work.
