Greetings, I am not sure if anyone is still here but I guess it's worth a shot.
I want to make a portable version of this game and back it up to my external HDD for easy access in the future. But before I do that I want to remove low resolution videos and such from the game to save some storage space.
For example hellgate_movieslow000.dat contains low resolution cutscenes which I do not need in 2025.
hellgate_movies000. dat has intro logos, end credit location shots and such in both high quality and low quality. I want to remove low resolution .bik videos from that .dat file.
But when I run Reanimator v1135 and go to Open> hellgate_movies000.idx and load it in, select bik files that I want to remove and click "Delete" I get a popup text that says "update me".
Replace Checked/Selected doesn't do anything at all.
My game installation path doesn't have any spaces in it either, "G:\Games\HellgateLondon\"
What am I doing wrong? Is it even possible to remove these low resolution videos and save some storage space?
