A Huge Skill & Consumables Overhaul Mod

Hello

Made this mod for myself but spent way to much time making it 12+ Hours in one sitting. Steam Reanimator works but has issues importing changes. So there will be no updates or tweaks. I would have to recreate the whole mod from start. To many changes to list every class has skill changes ranging from reduced or removed cooldowns to extra levels. It is a bit cheaty as with proper buffs and stats some skills can be infinite.

I tested it pretty good haven't found any bugs/glitches but won't beable to fix as previously mentioned.

Compatible with the mod Contra posted. Use both their mod and mine together.

Just in case you should backup your saves!

Thanks. Working on some item mods that will drop cash shop content (Pets, Storage Containers, Jewelry, Consumables). Need to look into it more but hopefully Costumes. Currently Costumes don't provide any of their normal bonuses just 1 shield. The mods don't add them to the normal drop list but changes the default/cheap monsters to drop stuff. I can't import the treasure.txt/cooked to edit. Without the ability to import the files contra uploaded that would lose a lot of other positive changes.

It works and it's fun, especially for Summoner 😁
There comes a point in life, where all you can do ...... is be awesomely insane...

Sorry it took so long for a reply. Yes they are compatible. This only edits the Skill.txt and Contra's mod & My Overhaul mod don't make changes to the Skills.txt.

I also noticed that there is more experience per level in your mod, it’s just a pity that this does not affect the ranks, the ranks still take a very long time to level up, perhaps you know how they can be changed

This mod doesn't change anything in the records for leveling. It's not even in the same txt file. There is a txts that for leveling and ranking exp but as I already said this mod or even my other don't alter them.

All mods for steam version on this forum are working fine (except more stacks of items in inv), but this is just not showing any changes in skills. I even made another new character and still nothing.

The skill descriptions don't reflect the changes. There is a problem with editing the strings so I couldn't update the changes on the skills. What class do you play? There is a couple easy ways to see it its working. You can try to spawn elementals/bots while in station. Normally the game prevents you from spawning them while in station my mod changes that. You can also buy/use more then 10 Skill Point +1. Base game lets you use 10 i changed that to 100.

I played as a Marksman, also I was low lvl so I couldn't check if I can spend more than 10 skill points on any skill. I was just hoping the skill descripion would change too, but if this is intentional then maybe it's working.

I wouldn't say intentional. I tried to change them but I couldn't figure out why it doesn't work. It seems in the process of saving/converting the changes made it breaks the file. I'm going to guess the Steam version uses a different layout and the Reanimator uses the original games format so it's not compatible.

If the changes in this mod can't be displayed in skill tree in game then it would be nice to have a list here of mayor changes. For example, does drone in engeener have more HP per skill level than 25%? I see that 'Reapir Drone" is still 20sec cooldown on first level, but does it heal more than 50% per use? Etc.

When I made the mod I was just learning the program and made this. Never planned to release it but figured I would. I didn't and don't remember all the changes I made as there were a lot.

This mod breaks the Surge procs on Blademaster unfortunately.
