Complete quest reset...
« on: Jun 14, 2023; 10:42 pm »
Hey folks,

It's good to be back after so long and nice to see people still enjoy HG:L. I've recently purchased a Deck and got HG for it and it brings back loads of memories. However, is there anyway at all that once you complete the game, you can reset your characters quests, like normal then elite....as I'm sure I've read else where those modes aren't active here. As I would love to replay the quests again as that's part of the charm...
There comes a point in life, where all you can do ...... is be awesomely insane...

What a pity that no one knows the answer to this question, I would gladly use this function rather than leaving the game again and again

Might you be referring to Normal and Nightmare, the way the original game implemented these modes?
If so, that's not possible on Steam; the way Global handled these modes was to make them drop-down, so new maps would generate in the chosen difficulty. Therefore, each playthrough only goes through the entire game once instead of twice - since modes are now settings and not playthrough modes.
What's more, I don't believe it'd be anywhere close to easy to re-mod these modes into Steam given this setup. What might be more possible would be to set quests to reset on their own after some time, but that would only make quests perpetually available instead of allow for playthroughs on different modes from scratch.

List of Global class guides.
The above guides may be obsolete for vanilla SP, but they may still hold true for the 2018 Steam version.
