Cube Hotfix for Hellgate Steam version 2.1.0.4

My czech friends asked me if i could not look at least on the problem with cube in the steam version of Hellgate.
I admit that i was shocked by the state in which this version is being sold for real money.
I cant fix all cube function with Reanimator tools, but some yes.

You use this mod at your own risk ! Backup your whole hellgate client before using it. There is absolutely no guarantee of the functionality of the game client after installation ! Compatibility of modded gameclient with future official patches is not guaranteed !

Mod can be instaled through common new revival launcher. While installation loader make log with lots of errors, but do not worry.
This hotfix partially repairs the transmogrifying cube.
- cube grid will be unlocked
- mixing of weapon mods, weapons and armor will be unlocked (weapons and armor only unique+)
- most of creating recipes will not work (recipes for pets unfortunatelly too), but recipes for making Berial key and "Cow level" amulet working correctly

Thanks for your job! If you can, please, add ability to get us set items - maybee, better way is to revive Lucky Coupon system, o simply make tradable by vendors.

Hi there,

thanx for your work.
I could use the cube now on the steam version for transmuting mods and uniques. But failed to cube berials feather and the talisman. What i have to do ? I put the Domain's, Time's an Spell's Piece in the cube, but  can't create the feather. Also i put the things for the Talisman in the cube (source is wiki) but can't create either.
What im am doing wrong ?  Please give a hint.

Hello

Put resources into cube, in low middle press button and expand menu with recipes. Find recipe (if is recources in grid, then recipe is highlighted), click on recipe with left button (item will be show in window) and then click on "create" button.
Cube in Global version working little bit differently than in Flagship version of game.

Hello. I wonder Kiki if you see any possibility to make Base Defense work.

For now, unfortunatelly, i no see chance for make that.
Problem with Base defense is in quest terms - quest appear only if player is in party, if is leader of this party and if have in main inventory cryptex. I think so this terms is controlled by core program.
It would be necessary make completelly new quest for travel portal appearing, but key files in gamedata is unopenable in Reanimator.
...and honestly, who would want to fix a game for which other people take money ?

I have the same proplem with cube can't turn items at all! and still don't get it what i file i should download and what to do exac to install it on game? please help

Now you have registration on Hellgateaus, so log in and go to first item in this topic, download  launcher and mod from links which appears bellow text (links is invisible if you do not registered user).
Unpack launcher and put it with zipped mod to location where you have Hellgate installation. Run launcher, set in options way to hellgate client path (if is necessary), then load mod and install it.
Backup you folder with Hellgate installation before you install cube patch !!!

Cube can be looted from Sydonai, but no with 100% chance. You must kill him several times...
