I'm talking about the five backpacks you added. I looked through the game saves that were available for download and there were also 2x2 backpacks, but why buy it if you can choose a 1x1 backpack with the same capacity as the 2x2 36 slots?

They were added with the only patch created for this game in 2018. You could buy two inventory bags and one mods bag.

The limit on the number of backpacks was abolished earlier, so I had over 20 of them on mods only.

Where can I read about these event items?

Thank you for the update, Mayhem. You are a Legend. I was looking for something like that and I got even more. The only thing I would change is those armor and mask design. Would be awesome if we had their texture as they look so awful on the char. Basically replace the skin class mask and armor kit with the costume and cap ones. The chars look so good with them and so awful.

This is with the armor kit and mask https://prnt.sc/lYUz0Rhcbc8D
This is with the costume and cap https://prnt.sc/6gzIIFP7Wlmh

Btw how can you refresh the buffs?

I also do not like the quest items from Fawkes, Halloween & Christmas Event. Do either of them provide something cool?

I would give some advice if you would like just for future reference. I managed to play in HGG, in 2038 and now I am playing SP. I managed to get my +20 skills ( 10 from shop that sells and 10 from the 300 nano mythical recipe. It seems even tho they look alike, they can provide you with extra skills. Maybe you can add that one to the shop. I managed to get mine by saving the game and copy paste every time until I got those. It is a 2% change to get that if I am not mistaken and takes a lot of time.

You now changed my entire plan since I got 6 augments. Have to do some calculations and see what I can get best with the new dye kits and other stuff. Probably get a better Z-83.

Not really following what your saying there is unlimited 1x1 Inventory Bags, Storage containers and Mod Bags all 1x1. There is also unlimited 2x2 Inventory Bags, Storage containers and Mod Bags. I also added a 2x2 Backpack, Satchel, Pouch with a max of 1. The Satchel and Pouch have smaller space. If you want more space use the 1x1 or 2x2 Inventory bags. Contra's saves were hacked/hex/modded and I'm guessing they used a costume a treasure.txt to add them to the game to make the save.

Honestly there is very little info on the items effects. The only info online is from London 2038 and its only lists a few of the consumables. https://wiki.london2038.com/Consumables Bottom of the page. It doesn't list the Halloween or Xmas items. Not sure if they were in the base game or added for global. There is also more consumables for Fawkes then what is listed. In Reanimator you and look up the items in the items.txt but most of the effects are listed in the skills.txt.

Hi, is it possible to add infinite points attributes? Or make the opportunity more per character level?

I would really like to increase attribute points so that there would be no problems with equipping sharpened armor and weapons

Yes, I haven't tried but I seen where you would edit how many attribute/skills points you get per level. It's located in the playerlevels.txt I believe.

The thing is that I don’t have the tools and I don’t know how to use it, a year ago I tried but it didn’t work, I would be very grateful to you if you could do this please

You probably still have the source code, as well as experience working with it

Attribute points are sorely lacking when upgrading weapons and armor to +23, if you could change 50 points for each level it, I would be very grateful to you.

You could always hex edit your gear. I don't have the time to work on making it right now. I've switched games and not playing Hellgate right now also about to redo my whole PC got some new parts. There is a PDF some where in the Steam section that has the values to hex edit. I recommend using HxD to edit value.

For my money, increasing stats per level across the game for an issue that emerges specifically at lv50 doesn't sound appropriate balance-wise or sensible design-wise. I understand SP mods are more about personal fun than any kind of grounded balance, but in principle I believe there are better alternatives:
  • Decrease the feeds per enhancement, since a) they were set up to artificially inflate feeds and promote cash shop items, b) enhancements were never meant to go above +15 (if memory serves) so anything above that is already imbalanced, and c) that's where the problem actually lies (considering the alternative solution of stat inflation can create a host of other problems), OR
  • Increase the +stat values on affixes, providing a built-in way to build toward meeting upgrade feeds, AND, optionally,
  • Decrease the feeds of Set pieces, since they contribute to the overall feed issue, and/or
  • Decrease the feeds of all affixes that are deemed excessive, ie contributing to massive feed demands.
I cannot offer guidance with enhancement feeds specifically, as I've never delved into these (although I'm guessing it should be fairly simple), but I *can* offer some with all the rest. None of them would be particularly complicated processes, and all of them would at most be rather tedious to see through.

(Otherwise yes, hexxing gear is also an option. I'd just rather see a systemic fix to the issue, rather than a user-sided one.)

The above guides may be obsolete for vanilla SP, but they may still hold true for the 2018 Steam version.

You bring up a lot of good points. There is better ways to mod that into the game. Maybe one day when I mod Hellgate again I'll look into maybe reducing the nano forge feed increase. Could also revert changes the +Stat augments to original Hellgate value so instead of +13 it can be +20 and +10AA to 15AA. Like you said the game never really meant for you to have anything higher then +15 & that would be VERY hard and expensive to even attempt. It's easy to hex edit your gear. You can raise your stats or lower the feeds even remove them.

Glad you see merit in these approaches, really. I'm quite fond of game-side solutions to such issues, since they maintain some vision of design and make the experience more frictionless user-side.

I'm not specifically suggesting you personally do any of these, that said. Just discussing concepts, and stating my willingness to help anyone wanting to take them up as best I can. Steam may really not be my cup of tea, but I'd much rather see mods fix its glaring issues and/or meet player demands than not.

I tried to use reanimator I had to unpack a lot of game files, it really worked but broke the game in some place, since the quest at the Manument station has an error and is not completed, How can I make a mod similar to what you did in a separate file and have it work with the original game files?

I suppose it should be possible to make targeted changes to specific files (eg the ones of this mod), then save the originals, and switch back and forth as wanted/needed.
Now which exact files you'd need would depend on what changes you choose to make. Among my suggestions above:
#1 would need the txt where enhancement feeds are defined (which I've never delved into).
#2 and #4 would need affixes.txt, since they're limited to affix tweaks.
#3 may need both items.txt (since item-specific per-level feeds exist in "per level props2" or Steam's equivalent column) and affixes.txt (since I'm presuming Set affixes use the blueprint of Unique ones, consolidating multiple values into one affix, and those should also have inflated feeds in "statsFeed" or Steam's equivalent column).
