The gain works up to +23

ok, i'll try it again but slowly this time. and grabbed that other mod you suggested.

edit: mmm...no. just got a gun to +3 then it failed and lost all +'s again. but when i used that unofficial mod on its own, the "Use Nano Forge to upgrade items are 100% successful and up to +20 MAX." change does work all the way up to 20 (you just have to remember to stop at +20 or it eats the item)

so, with that not working, there's not much point to the increase to +23 from that other mod since i'll never be able to get anywhere near that high.
read carefully the description of the mod, using the two previous mods, the description says that you need to use an item for sharpening, it is sold at the dealer at the station, one item for sharpening from level 1-6, the other from 20-23 so as not to break the item

the improvement is closer to the original, but has advantages, an increased chance to sharpen the item, and does not deprive the meaning of items that are created for this and are sold by the seller

I received a new patch and tried it.
You cannot enter all of Stonehenge's dungeons.
Including Moloch.

maybe you don't have enough essence or the minimum level of the character doesn't match, I'll look at it later, I haven't encountered such an error yet, although I entered without problems only yesterday, or try to put items in the character's inventory

try to talk to the NPCs at the Templar station, the main quest, some conditions are not met

I noticed you have too many attribute points, it looks like you are using some kind of hack, there may be an incompatibility, try using the original save and the original mod

with this mod, you can easily complete the game with the correct leveling of the character, but you will have to farm a little to play for this and a balance of strengthening monsters skills and the like has been introduced

I don't think it has anything to do with the hex edit.
If you replace the file with the one you first received in March, all Stonehenge dungeons will work fine.
After that, when I replaced the files, the pillar no longer gave me the quest.
I tried both the edited character and the normal character, but they were the same.

o_O that's really strangely worded in the OP which is why i don't understand it.

is that talking about the basic and advanced mod preservatives items?

if so...basic till +6...then advanced guarantees success to +20?

or do i need to wait for a merchant past covent station?

advanced gives a guarantee not to break the item, and yes, with a 6-20 chance to sharpen the item 100%, I could do as in the original, but then you will need a lot of condoms and Palladium

I can return the sharpening as in the original to +15 and this is the maximum, but then it will be difficult for you to kill bosses, I did not test the balance particularly, but I tried to make it so that it was possible to simply demolish monsters, accumulate Palladium as well as items for improvement, but so that everything was gradual, I tried just sharpen at + 23 to go through the plot, the bosses died in 2 seconds, the game was passed in a couple of hours and was not interesting, so it was decided to introduce complexity as with sharpening to increase armor and HP to monsters and bosses, how this will affect the gameplay I am not a game developer, so something was introduced that too unbalanced the game

and when you have a sign with 3000 items in front of you, you bring it in, install it, go into the game, go there, go here, one class is another class, everyone is always missing something, you set it up over and over again, it's difficult to do it all the more alone without the help of knowledgeable people, so everything is done to taste and color😁
