By memory, no. If they kept the augment condition "has damage radius" in place, (which they logically did unless they prevented the augment from landing on direct-only weapons in a different way,) then foci wouldn't qualify by default.
Still, there are a few ways to go about this with tweaks. Other than removing the augment condition, of course, which might have odd effects elsewhere. Foci *can* take +radius as an inherent property, like Glyphs did, so one can do the same for other types with custom values of choice. Forcing the augment into specific Uniques/Mythics as a standard affix (or just setting any custom +radius affix on them) also works. Lastly, buffing the +radius values of relics or creating Named relics with custom +radius values will also have the desired outcome.
