What happened with the old flagship members?

Did they joined other  game companies? Because everytime I'm playing hellgate I think: this the day where diablo left blizzard. I'm looking for old games where a part of the team maybe worked, too. 

Still hoping for hellgate 2, because I like the future themed diablo mmorpg.  But I think this time is over.
The view from above like in diablo is kinda outdated for me.
