graphical issue with a possible number of items in hellgate global

hello i am new to the hellgate forums and i have a problem that i need some advice or help in dealing with:
while i was playing hellgate global(i am playing this version because i rather get retrainers from the shop rather than farm from bosses for god knows how long just to get the retrainers), i discovered that the rebounder pistols look atrociously ugly even by the global version's downgraded standards.
i don't know if this helps or not, but the hellgate global that i am playing is from a torrent and is not from steam.

That looks like it's failing to load some textures and/or shade it properly. What's odd is that it seems to be item-specific, going by your screenshot.
I can't say I remember this issue, either on Global or Steam. I'd suggest fiddling with your settings just in case, otherwise it may be related to the torrent copy you got.

That aside, briefly touching on this;

While I understand that it's not nearly as convenient as buying Retrainers off the vendors, I'd like to note that that's always been the case for MP Hellgate. Retariners being this accessible has only ever been the case in SP mods and now Steam.
If anything, 2038 has better drop rates than all MP versions I've played, and Retrainers are not exclusive to Moloch either. Gold farming is also rather easier, through Brompton and whatnot, so buying them off other players on the CH is always an option.
