Help for default settings on this forum

Regarding forum_x.
I have gone through the User Control Panel and have not found where I can set the default view to the Board Index.
Not that I mind greatly, but the default screen insists on starting with the pm screen of a message Maeyan sent me.

Don't know if this might work, but under Board Preferences there is the option "Notify me on new private messages:" would setting this to "no" stop that PM message from showing when you start ?

Would try, but have no PMs waiting... :)

I'm pretty sure "notify" means e-mailing when you get a PM/reply. I have it off and I get the "you've got mail!" thing on the top of the current page whenever I receive a message.

It shouldn't redirect you to the full text of the last received message, anyway.

I think I found the way to work around it though.
Instead of loggin in via the username/password near the top righthand side; if I use the username/password boxes at the bottom of the screen, the log in takes me to the Board Index as oppossed to the :
Board index » Community Discussion » Revival » Gameplay » Items

work-a-round does not fix the issue for me.
