Double post,I know.

Something that occured to me,about "Johnny's Mecha-Slicer 3000".Is it just me or will that weapon not function as intended?
To illustrate.The weapon has +x to some Engi skills,so as to be given to drones.But if the drone wields them,won't the +x to the Engi skills go to waste?  :roll:

I just tested it and gave a weapon +3 to all Engi skills. On me it works perfectly fine, but not when equipping it to the drone. You're right Bryan, that won't work...

nah dude that kind of defiles the idea of the whole thing.
if the items are over the top they need to be adapted to acceptable levels.

thats why i am so strongly against over the top stats -.-

Wouldn't prefer it myself,just suggested it for the case objectively scaling the items down now would be difficult/objectionable/whatever.

Well I think most (if not all) of these items will be a pain in the ass to obtain like it was with slips in the wild. (im saying this while remembering obtaining a 4 slot slip on my first run through the wilds... Ah good times... Good times...) I do believe some people could just never find a Slip of their own... Sad... Either way I think that is why some of these are getting by with high stats... This is all just my opinion of course... No need to take it as fact >.>

oh, your unique can't be a lame weapon, it would have to be a nudepatch i'm afraid.

this is going to work sweet with the purple dildo sword and the gerbil launcher.

All we need now is unique thongs with a +x to Stun attack strength.
And probably a -x% movement speed for the males.

Base Item: Sniper Rifle
Item Quality: Unique
Item Level: 40-45
Item Flavour Text: Use the Attitude Adjuster to insert small ball of palladium behind right ear of subject. You will then find that the subject's attitude will be adjusted to your satisfaction. If not satisfied, more applications may be necessary. Dislcaimer: Insertion anywhere else on subject may cause results to vary.
Damage Type: Physical Direct
Affixes:
1) Adds/increases stun attack strength
2) Increase range
3) Increased firing accuracy
Mod Slots: 1 of each of the following: tech, ammo, relic, battery, fuel.

Edited: Added item level range, and 3rd affix.

Well,my humble opinion would be around level 30/32-35 or so.That way it'll be found (and put to use) relatively much earlier in the game,then those who stick to it can always upgrade it all the way to the weapon level cap (since enough upgrades should be allowed to do it).

Then again,there's always the matter of just how hard it'll be for some players to keep spending ever more scraps to upgrade that weapon,when it's quite easier to just look for a higher-level one... :roll:

That looks like a fairly awesome weapon there malachor. If I might suggest I think a small amount of splash damage such as the convulsor or voodoo has would be cool.

Far be it from me to dictate your item though. So do whatever you like.

As for item I think 25-35 range would be a nice filler. Or lvl 40-45 where unique snipers are rare

•Item Level - 25-30
•Item Flavor Text - I am so clever that sometimes I don’t understand a single word of what I am saying
•Damage Type/s - Physical splash
•Affix1 - +27% damage
 Affix2 - +7% chance to cause fire nova on hit
 Affix3 - +2 to Master Engineer
Mod slots - 2 ammo, 2 tech, 1 battery
Watching drones shoot walls since Sept. 2007
