just ran into a bad bug at camp gulf.  the quest giver, McCredie is MIA.
1 good bug is some cases of ammo are free, no price set for the merchant :lol:

I haven't been using any of the companions... perhaps I should rethink my outlook on that one. There's a helluva lot more hostility in the desert lol.

Penny, you can also just scav the required parts to fix ede and it is easier.

Its cool I got him up and running... Oh and im not sure if this is a glitch or not but my companions do not die in this one... They just get knocked out then they are right back up... I found this out when a pack of Deathclaws decided they wanted to use us as their personal scratching posts...

Was not aware of that... Oh and found my third companion... She is at a NCR station at the bottom left of the map... Can not remember now for the life of me her name or her exact location.

Rex - Robot dog you can get from King in Freeside.
Doc - I cant remember his name right now but he is in the Mormon Camp in Freeside.
Lilly - She is a Nightkin you can ask to join you for a mission that I have not done yet. She can be found in Jacobstown. Im not sure if she stays with you or not after you do the quest and honestly she is batty as all hell so im not sure if I would feel safe with her around me.

Ok, I have a question about attaining Boone as a companion. I've talked to all the towns people and now I am suposed to find evidence in the dino lounge. The only place I can guess that would have the evidence is the floor safe but I don't have enough lockpicking to open it. Is there any other way to get into the safe. I can imagine that if I don't show Boone proof that he won't join me so just taking one of the townspeople out for him to kill isn't going to cut it.

The way I did it is at one point when I leveled there is a skill that double the points you get from magazines and books. I used a "Locksmith Readers" (locksmith magazine) and that gave me enough to lockpick it... Though now that I think about it if you use a stealth boy you could probably swipe the key from the women who stays in there. Oh word of caution though if Boone even gets a whiff of Legion he is off trying to kill them... No matter how many are there... So if you are trying to side with the Legion or are near one of their bases you will be in a world of trouble.

Oh yeah I forgot about my stealth boy, thanks penny :). Also, I am villified by the legion since I decided to go save some powder gangers that they had taken captive. They've already sent assassins after me. That's how I got the 10mm submachine gun that does 111 dps.
